A Living Matrix

This thought unfolds through a mother work, a living matrix from which the creations are born and take shape. Each project actualizes one particular possibility of it. While retaining their own existence, the works enter freely into relation: the correspondences that appear between them in turn reconfigure the matrix and open new possibilities for creation. Les fleurs de l'œil thus develops in a continuous movement between what already exists and what is yet to come.

A Dramaturgy of Relations

A dramaturgy organizes these relations without imposing a single path or reading. Meaning first emerges from the encounter with a particular work: the viewer's attention, the associations they form, and their own experience contribute to what they discover in it. This experience can then be transformed through contact with other creations, encountered earlier or later. New correspondences then appear, in turn shifting the perception of the works and of the whole to which they belong.

An Experience of the World

Les fleurs de l'œil takes its model from our experience of the world: we construct meaning by connecting what we see, live through, and encounter, while remaining confronted with a reality vaster than what we can grasp of it. The work then becomes a space held open for attention where the gaze can linger, establish new relations, and let thought unfold through forms.
